About me.

Hello! I am Storm, a game programmer and designer from the Netherlands.
Ever since I can remember I have played games, everything from the browser to the triple-A. That obsession took its next step when I put my head inside a computer at nine years old and I had a good look-see. Ever since then I have been obsessed with figuring out how things work. In my early teens I started on the IT side, learning how to make websites, setting up network storage, and modifying games as much as I could. In my late teens I realized that some game engines were available for free and I started experimenting. Shortly after, at 17, I studied IT for a year (because come on, you need a “real” job). Before the year was over I realized my passion lays with games and always will. For me it is the perfect cross-over between the technical and the creative. I immediately applied to study Creative Media and Game Technologies at Hanze and never looked back since. I am now in my third year there.
